A Message from Founder and Curator Lou Brooks, As.D.:
Welcome, artists and aficionados alike, to the brand new home of The Museum of Forgotten Art Supplies — where tools of the trade that have died or have just about died a slow death are cheerfully exhibited. The Museum now features more fun than you deserve... including, of course, hundreds of images of art supply artifacts. All contributed by visitors like you! Your comments about any artifact are always most welcome.
We also welcome you to submit images* of any ghosts of graphic arts past that you feel have bitten the dust or are on their way there.
So, c'mon in and stay awhile... the coffee’s always hot, the waxer’s always on, and the deadline’s always easy!
- Lou Brooks, Doctor of Art Supplies

* We’re up to our uhhh... thighs in artifacts now and counting, so please check each of the 16 categories below before submitting and be sure you’re NOT sending a duplicate of something. A variation in color, size, or design, as well as interesting packaging or literature is still cool.
