The 1977 Compugraphic EditWriter 7500

All layout was done in points and typed into the computer like code. All text, photo boxes, different fonts, columns, everything but the photos themselves were coded in at the terminal. Fonts were loaded into a separate, connecting machine by 10" floppies. Then it was printed out on a third large connected machine. Graphics were cut from giant clip art books or processed in a dark room, then 'glued' to the produced page with hot wax.
